Beckside Farm Hosts Innovis Farm Walk

A very successful Innovis farm walk was held at Beckside with Dewi Jones, MD of Innovis Breeding Company, speaking about the potential increase in farm profitability achievable from attention to aspects of lamb production attributable to improved genetics. Charlie Morgan, The Grass Master, explained that soil management beginning with trial holes, to assess compaction and worm numbers, could substantially improve grass production which may well remove the need to rent expensive additional acres.
Aberfield, Abbermax and Primera tups and groups of their progeny were on display.
The walk concluded with a bbq.
